About Philip Bailey

I am a retired Actor who came to Ayr in 1985 for a Summer Season of Children’s Repertory Theatre at a well known Holiday Centre just south of Ayr. Before you ask I did not ware a Red Jacket. The rest is history as Robert Burns would have warned me “Auld Ayr, wham ne'er a town surpasses, For honest men and bonny lasses.” One Smile from a bonny Lass and I have now lived in Ayrshire for most of my life. Sadly I have been a Widower since 2,000.

My passion as you may have guessed is now Photography and I am a member of Ayr Photographic Society. Some of my images can be viewed in their annual exhibition which takes place at The Maclaurin Gallery. Where Most images are usually available for sale.
